Content Manager

As content manager you will be responsible for developing multiple forms of content to enhance the company’s credibility and customer base, implementing it across multiple public-facing platforms including social media, website, blog, email and live events.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Design and develop content across multiple consumer and business mediums and platforms including written, digital and video content for the company website, blog, social channels, email and more
  • Use social media in an innovative way to change the way people think about the company, safety, security and senior care and to introduce them to Kami Vision and its growing brands
  • Develop and maintain a Kami Vision voice and visual identity that is unique and tailored to each social platform and audience
  • Partner with marketing team members on the development, strategy, planning, and execution of a content calendar
  • Research, recommend, and launch new social media channels to support our growth and community
  • Conduct outreach to partners and collaborators to share content and extend Kami’s voice and back links with influencer platforms
  • Create comprehensive briefs that balance smart strategy and beautiful content
  • Leverage data to optimize and create the most compelling customer communications
  • Package this listening and insights and share them across cross-functional teams
  • Develop and manage a company blog schedule in support of company strategy and priorities
  • Write high-quality blog and social posts that deliver incredible value to our readers and rank well on Google
  • Write long-form content as needed including bylines and white papers
  • Write and edit copy for new web pages as needed
  • Support select email writing as needed, in partnership with marketing
  • Report on goals and progress of both day-to-day content as well as broader campaign performance 
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Design, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to communicate trends and key findings
  • Support influencer marketing plans that are tied to a campaign or product launches

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience within a startup or high growth environment
  • Experience managing social media content across multiple social channels, and building a community of loyal customers
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt on the fly and test out new ideas to stand out among a vast number of competitors
  • Branding/Consumer Technology/B2B technology experience required
  • Excellent written and communication skills with an obsessive attention to detail (you will share examples of your written work)
  • Exceptional written communication skills, experience developing visual and video content
  • Strong aesthetic and visual perspective, and passion for storytelling.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously across various audiences
  • Experienced with setting KPIs and supporting data to track results to goals
  • Experienced program management and organization skills
