Vice President Consumer Marketing

Overview of Role

As Kami Vision’s Vice President of Consumer Marketing, you will be responsible for creating and executing the consumer marketing group’s strategy and supporting campaigns and initiatives.  You will report into the SVP Marketing, and work closely with senior leadership throughout the organization in scaling the global consumer strategy.  The consumer marketing group supports a large and growing global consumer ecosystem – over 6 million users, across 120 countries have paired 16M+ devices with Kami Home.  Bring your creative energy and technical passion as you and your experienced team of digital marketing launch, and scale Kami’s pipeline of new-to-the-world AI enabled services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Overseeing marketing for a rapidly growing SaaS consumer business
  • Manage consumer channel strategy across web, email, social, paid; launch, measure insights; resource allocate accordingly
  • Responsible for storytelling; product marketing and consumer brand experience
  • Develop compelling assets bring Kami Home consumer solutions to live – video, email, in-app, web and more
  • Lead a team of skilled performance marketers to drive marketing strategy, campaign ideation, execution, and analysis, continually raising the bar on technical and analytical skills
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to build drive product roadmap
  • Lead rapid experimentation of new channels, campaigns, creative, incentives, and approaches for the purpose of building scalable solutions
  • Report key findings to the executive team on a recurring basis – KPI dashboards and ongoing reporting
  • Be an industry thought leader and take part in shaping the future of performance marketing roles within the Kami Vision organization


  • 8-10 years minimum of working in a digital marketing role at a high growth consumer SaaS company
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required, MBA a plus
  • Experience owning, managing and/or closely partnering with multiple marketing channels; paid, organic, social, email; as well as experience or interest in storytelling/brand; product marketing
  • Deep analytics background and a high degree of proficiency with rigorous data tools
  • Ability to synthesize, analyze and interpret data (including KPI reports) and transfer into actionable steps
  • Proven track record of building out and managing successful teams
  • Hands-on experience delivering growth through a comprehensive end-to-end consumer demand generation technology stack –
  • Extensive expertise with automation platforms such as Braze or Klaviyo is required
  • VP Consumer Marketing will be located the Silicon Valley California market and collaborate closely with the San Jose based consumer marketing and product team.
