Subpoena and Law Enforcement Guide

If you're asking for access to video recordings from a specific camera, please keep in mind that only the camera owner has access to these recordings through their YI Technology/Kami account. By logging into their account on our official mobile app, they can view and download all recorded videos saved on their YI Cloud or Kami Cloud Account.

Law Enforcement Requests:
Kami Vision respects user privacy while complying with applicable law.

• Kami Vision may preserve account records upon receipt of a valid request under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f).
• Preservation requests require no disclosure and are limited to retaining existing data for the statutory period.
• Kami Vision does not disclose subscriber information or content without valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
• Preservation requests expire after 90 days unless formally extended.
• Kami Vision does not notify users of preservation requests unless legally required.
